Alongside the rest of the AOA team, Nick is excited to bring themed entertainment to life across the globe. Amidst his academic and professional experience, Nick has explored storytelling, propmaking, show set design, and other placemaking elements in various location-based entertainment applications.

Between acting, conducting, composing, arranging, teaching, designing, and painting, Nick has explored the many ways in which the various artistic disciplines can be combined to tell dynamic and enrapturing stories. As a member of the Penn State Thespian Society and volunteer and former student at South Fayette Township School District, Nick has been involved in more than two dozen musical performances and has called upon these experiences as direct translation into his work in themed entertainment.

Nick got his start in the arts at Penn State University, where he studied Integrative Arts and Park and Tourism Management in a dual Bachelor’s degree program. He went on to further his education at the University of Florida, where he earned his Master of Architectural Studies in the Themed Environment Integration program. During his early career, he worked on a number of museum and education pursuits, including his work on the Senator John Heinz History Center, where he secured donations for the museum’s, “A Very Merry Pittsburgh” holiday exhibit. Nick also acted as a guide and facilitator of trails operations at the Walt Disney World Resort, offering positive conservation messaging to visiting guests.

Additionally, Nick has served in education and creative writing roles through various internships at Cedar Point’s Hotel Breakers, Penn State University Libraries’ Division of Development and Alumni Relations, the Heinz History Center, and the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History and Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. Alongside his wealth of experience in all things museums and themed entertainment, Nick brings his incredible attitude and wide berth of skills to every AOA project.
