Goals, budgets, forecasting, and more: Erin Woodman is AOA’s project controller, budget monitor, and finance extraordinaire. Her experience includes capital and development projects with Universal Orlando, Ginn Development, Starwood Vacation Ownership, the Walt Disney World Resort, and Reedy Creek Improvement District. From defining a budget to carrying it out to completion, Erin is responsible for all things finance.
Over the course of two decades, Erin has managed multiple portfolios exceeding $500M, ranging from capital improvements and special projects for multi-million dollar development projects in Florida, Hawaii, California, Colorado, and Cancun. Throughout her career, she has provided leadership in Excel, SOX and internal controls, COS, POC, capital, asset purchases, as well as ad HOC projects. While Erin’s role is largely behind the scenes, she’s an integral part of making sure AOA’s finances are ship-shape.
That sea-savvy attitude is what makes AOA’s dedication to fiscal responsibility for clients a realistic reality. Erin is a key part of making responsible pricing and transparency in investments a day-to-day part of AOA’s larger life. While she’s afforded that ability by her hard-earned skills and dedication to service, she’s supported by the greater executive team in that financial answerability should be accessible to all.
Erin coordinates with project managers, general contractors, construction managers, and clients to maintain cash flow, project needs, and risk assessment. Her experience has given her the know-how to catch purse pitfalls and financial foes. Her expertise at AOA carries on to every project and every client, giving both themed entertainment pursuits and luxury hotel escapades. Amidst her wealth of immersive entertainment and luxury hotel experience, Erin has also been responsible for senior management reporting and contract compliance issues.
As AOA’s go-to finance professional, she currently works alongside the rest of the team to define the funds behind the fantastical. Erin plans the purse-strings behind client builds, initiatives, and visions.
