With over 25 years of experience in the themed entertainment industry, Denise Hatcher is a theme park person, a theatrical person, and director of all the things that fall in-between. This resort-and-retail professional has worked on high class hotels, rip-roaring rollercoasters, and delectably delicious dining restaurants, across the globe. Alongside her AOA teammates, Denise is a myth among hospitality and entertainment legends.

In her previous life, Denise excelled in several positions across The Walt Disney Company, including directing sales with Disney Vacation Club’s opulent Orlando offerings. As the manager of marketing strategy, she was responsible for leading marketing strategy development and integrated communications plans for the whole of the Walt Disney World Resort. Special events, dedication ceremonies, and opening day events were also under Denise’s precisive eye. Prior to her marketing strategy days, Denise’s expertise was also applied to directing sales with Disney Vacation Club and the club’s luxury resort locations.

Denise’s career highlights include leading the development of New Fantasyland’s launch campaigns in Disney’s Magic Kingdom, special event campaigns for Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival.

And as for her day-to-day highlights, Denise drives the action behind AOA’s dedication to community outreach. Aside from organizing AOA’s contributions to organizations like Orlando’s OnePULSE Foundation, Plaza Live’s renovation on behalf of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and partnership with Yuri’s Night at the Kennedy Space Center, Denise also serves on several themed experience and theatrical boards. The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) is proud to call her one of their directors; the same can be said of the Orlando Repertory Theatre’s Board and the Rollins College of Business’ Advisory Board.

At AOA, Denise works closely with the executive team to boost the business into new fields and new heights. Logistics, client relations, working out the kinks of a cool new attraction – Denise does it all. She’s thrilled to help clients create the vacation destination of a lifetime.
