Over the course of his intrepid 30-year career in live and themed entertainment, Aric has traveled the world helping to deliver awe-inspiring experiences to guests in America, Asia and Europe. From live entertainment to attractions and even entire lands, Aric’s resume includes a variety of experiences across the entertainment landscape.
Aric has made a career out of leading high-performance teams and organizations towards ambitious goals. From leading creative teams, production teams, engineers, scientists, students, and small businesses, Aric adds value via the wide breadth of his experiences.
Aric got his start at the Disneyland Resort in 1991, where he worked as a stage technician for Disneyland’s various entertainment offerings. With this strong foundation in entertainment behind him, he went on to join organizations like the University of California, Lexington, and Walt Disney Imagineering’s world-class R&D team. Some of his domestic projects include Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where he oversaw the scope of the overall design and delivery of the land’s theming, Trader Sam’s at the Disneyland Resort, and more. Internationally, Aric was a part of the Shanghai Disneyland development team, specifically overseeing Adventure Isle’s $250M scope: 3 major attractions, a live theatre, food & beverage locations, and merchandise locations.
As part of the AOA team, Aric manages scope, budget, and schedule for a number of attractions in themed entertainment, hospitality, restaurants, and retail. His ability to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects has been honed across his past experiences and projects. Alongside the rest of the project management team, Aric delivers well-executed projects within schedule and budget.
Aric has had the opportunity to work on groundbreaking R&D initiatives, ranging from next-generation pyrotechnics to flying acrobatic superhero robots. He brings to AOA a career’s worth of varied experiences leading teams of designers and engineers on countless high-profile live and themed entertainment projects spanning decades and continents.
