Show Set Design Lead
Rachel is a problem solver with a passion for creating experiences that exceed guest expectations and client goals. Her various experience in industrial design, graphic design, and themed entertainment design lend her a diverse skill set branching across disciplines. Rachel received her BA in Industrial Design from Purdue University followed by her Master of Fine Arts in Themed Entertainment Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Rachel’s project experience includes Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando Resort, Parques Reunidos’ Ducati World, Disney’s Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant, FACE Hospitality in various locations, Meow Wolf Vegas, Disney Vacation Club IPW Convention Booth, Walt Disney World Resort, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and Epcot’s Space 220 Restaurant.
At AOA, Rachel’s technical capabilities with software are broad utilizing programs such as CAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Suite, Solidworks, SketchUp, and 3DMax Rendering. She is responsible for coordinating and leading team meetings, contributing to and managing creative development in varying formats, managing and producing production drawings sets through bid, mastering various file formats for coordination and drawing development, overseeing team organization and tasks for milestones and deadlines, and acting as a key communicator between design teams and clients.
