Phil Wilde’s 30 years of experience in industrial electrics has culminated in a career of pirate-infested waters, outer-space missions, and circus-animal flight. When it comes to the electrical needs of large scale attractions, retail locations, museums, and even Air Force bases, Phil has certainly been around the electrified block.
Phil’s primary experience has been at the Walt Disney World Resort alongside Maddox Electronic, working on projects like Mission: SPACE and Storybook Circus. Whether it’s low voltage, high voltage, or a control installation, Phil has charged through many projects at the Walt Disney World Resort – in fact, he can almost recite EPCOT’s building code word-for-word.
At AOA, Phil’s daily duties include supporting his team in the field. He focuses on connecting the small details together to keep construction professionals, schematic designs, and client deadlines on the same page. Aside from lighting up a project’s lifecycle, he is dedicated to consistency and quality in all he does. Amidst his projects, his favorite has got to be Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios; it was his first project with AOA and one of the most amazing experiences he’s gotten to be a part of. The fastest hunk-of-junk in the galaxy is just one of the many projects Phil can say he’s proud of, but it’s definitely the project that got this life-long Star Wars fan’s heart racing.
And as a co-owner of his own company, Wilde Electric LLC, Phil is illuminated in the ins-and-outs of working with contractors, communicating a vision, and closing out well. He’s taken a shine to all aspects of the project lifecycle, making him an illuminating figure on any project. Phil carries fantastic attention to detail and dedication to all of his clients, and he’s thrilled that he gets to do that alongside the AOA family.
