Show Set Designer
New solutions, new ideas, and new guest experiences: Nick is all about combining storytelling with effective design to push the limits of possibility and charge up the imagination. With an architectural background beside him, Nick has a passion for making the impossible possible. All it takes is a great set, a great story, and a fantastic team – how fortunate that AOA always has all three!
Nick’s past work experiences have led him to Walt Disney Imagineering, where he worked on the much-anticipated Galactic Starcruiser, an all-immersive experience for Star Wars fans who want to go beyond the Batuu boundaries; Universal Creative, where he designed queues and coordinated with facility design for upcoming initiatives and original attractions alike; and PGAV Destinations, where he assisted with 3-D and 2-D ideation for overall land development in theme parks across the country. Nick has gained an abundance of experience from each of these projects, but one thing certainly sticks out: every project is unique and thus, requires unique solutions – always have an open mind, and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
That open-ended thinking is what makes Nick a valued member of the team. AOA values forward-thinking as much as it does classic training. Nick has got the skillset to do both. His favorite thing about his job is the general enthusiasm towards being yourself at all levels of management; it makes for better communication, but it’s a sure-fire way to add an extra level of excellence to any project.
At AOA, Nick’s skillset gives him the ability to take care of almost anything his team might need: from collaborating on blue sky ideas to designing development drawing packages, nothing is out of reach when AOA’s team support is there to bridge the gaps.
