Mary was born and raised in Venezuela where she attained a Bachelor's Degree and had the opportunity to work for 4 years for a General Contractor on various commercial and residential construction projects. Since moving to the US, Mary has gained a Master's Degree in Construction Management.
Mary’s project experience has been diverse with AOA. She has successfully completed work on multiple tenant/ third party participant FOH and BOH projects at Epcot and Disney Springs. Successfully completed projects at Epcot include: The France Pavilion renovation, the Spice Road Table Restaurant at the Morocco Pavilion, the Katsura Garden Deck at the Japan Pavilion, and multiple BOH projects for Mitsukoshi and Epcot's Park and Events. At Disney Springs, she managed the Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC (former BabyCakes) Commissary relocation from the old Downtown Disney to Kissimmee, and the new storefront at Disney Springs. She was also part of the team that delivered The Edison, Maria & Enzo’s, and Enzo’s Hideaway at Disney Springs, and worked on the Summerhouse (clubhouse) expansion at Golden Oak.
Mary continues to learn and grow professionally with each new project and her diversity of work has enabled her to become experienced in a wide variety of project delivery methods and processes within the project development and 3rd party participant works on Disney property. With each new project, comes unique challenges, and Mary has proven to be capable and adaptable to these challenges on each project and continues to be a leader in the industry. Mary has also had the opportunity to build a respected and trustworthy report with Owners/ Clients, Contractors and Disney liaisons throughout her project portfolio.
