Jake's background in the theatrical design and production, lighting design, and technical direction brings a passion for themed entertainment. For over 10 years, Jake has been at the forefront of technology working with clients including Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, and Royal Caribbean.
With AOA, Jake has been responsible for managing show installation and construction as Technical Director for Shanghai Disneyland: Enchanted Storybrook Castle. He also assisted as Technical Director for Fantasyland attractions: 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Winnie the Pooh and Winnie the Pooh Merchandise Shop. Jake also assisted Walt Disney Imagineering at Epcot, working on updates to the projection and scent systems for Soarin'. As Technical Director and Project Manager for Baha Mar's entrance show lake, he managed specialized teams to deliver the Caribbean's first and only water show complete with video projections, laser lighting and dynamic motion water features. He continued to assist in projection setup and installation at Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania expansion. Jake completed the installation of Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom. As special effects assistant, he worked closely with electrical contractors and fabricators to install a state-of-the-art projection system for all four theaters. In addition, he supported Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Rise of the Resistance, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and Space Restaurant at Epcot.
