Senior Project Field Personnel
Disney Springs, the Grand Floridian, and the Hammock Beach Resort are just a few of the amazing projects under this seasoned construction aficionado’s toolbelt. From luxury resorts to theme park offerings, Dewayne Morris is AOA’s flexible professional for all things industrial, commercial, and residential construction.
Dewayne’s projects include various projects at the Walt Disney World Resort: Disney Springs, The Grand Floridian, and many others. Across these Orlando-based projects, he’s handled everything from new construction to remodeling initiatives. At Disney Springs, Dewayne was an integral part of the rebrand from Downtown Disney. At The Grand Floridian, he oversaw mobilization and day-to-day contract administration. Mouse-made projects and beachside resorts are no match for this development specialist.
Whether it’s planning, communications, supervision, or execution, Dewayne is an expert in all phases of construction management. Aside from working across various levels of the project lifecycle, Dewayne has also worked amidst contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and so many more professionals in-between. He’s adept at keeping everyone on the same page, making him a whiz of both delegation and issue ablation.
With all of his clients, Dewayne ensures that projects are implemented within cost, schedule, quality, and safety parameters. In his Walt Disney World resort projects, he’s had the pleasure of managing over 70 team members at once – how’s that for a packed project? That’s not even counting additional contractors, materials vendors, and pre-construction co-workers. From pre-construction to handing over the keys, Dewayne is among AOA’s maestros of management.
As good managers are, Dewayne is flexible, efficient, and above all else: supportive. He takes care of his team and his clients with all the detail in the world, making sure that AOA’s projects are built on time, on budget, and with client vision in mind.
