From designing for thrilling video games, to creating VFX for award-winning films, to 3D modeling themed entertainment wonders, Dennis Fraser is an incredible designer and artist. From his experience at companies like Universal Creative to his background with DreamWorks Animation, Dennis joins the creative team in transforming the ordinary into extraordinary.
Dennis got his start in the entertainment world at a young age; his earliest adventures include rebuilding motors, refurbishing arcade games, and even building backyard rollercoasters. After those early days, he moved on to professional VFX work on world-famous initiatives: Transformers, The Walking Dead, and Marvel projects are all amidst his entertainment repertoire. His abilities in 3DS Max, Unreal Engine, AutoCAD, and Revit are unparalleled, and you can often find Dennis developing movie quality renders for projections. From photorealistic environments to stylized surroundings, Dennis is up to any challenge and client vision that might arise.
Dennis’ projects include various initiatives at global Universal Parks, including attractions design for Epic Universe and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, FL; supporting planning and design for Super Nintendo World in global Universal Studios parks; and even previsualization for Skull Island: Reign of Kong at Islands of Adventure in Orlando, FL. Outside of themed entertainment, Dennis has acted as matte painter and compositor for films like How to Train Your Dragon, Scared Shrekless, and Megamind. Across all sorts of projects and industries, Dennis turns the impossible into the possible. For him, it’s a matter of great storytelling, fantastic environments, and efficient collaboration.
Alongside the rest of the AOA team, Dennis creates concept art, 3D renderings, and design support through all aspects of the project lifecycle. As he ventures into each great adventure, he looks forward to building something beautiful alongside clients and team-mates alike.
