Associate Project Manager
What do the Citrus Bowl, Disney’s Pandora, and the Orlando City Soccer Stadium have in common? Christina Stone’s careful coordination and high level of expertise. Across her construction background and large-scale project skills, Christina has first-hand experience required to make project dreams a reality. After all, who else can say they checked on concrete curing at EPCOT when they were just seven years old?
Christina was brought into the entertainment fold by her grandfather, one of the original contractors on Disney’s Magic Kingdom – hence the concrete-curing opportunities at such a young age. Christina’s familial background in construction is vast and varied, and it’s given her the passion needed to face the fast-paced, high-pressure world of themed entertainment.
Christina carries that one-of-a-kind origin story and those one-of-a-kind qualities through every project she’s worked on. Her job duties include billing for accounts payable and tracking construction change directives, quality control and assurance, building strategic partnerships, and maintaining relationships with customers and industry partners. Aside from her AOA day-to-day, Christina serves as Newsletter Editor and Board Member of the Professional Construction Estimators Association and was the recipient of their Estimator of the Year award in 2019. She’s also incredibly proud to be a 3rd-generation Woman in Construction, propelling both herself and her community into new heights on every project she approaches.
Besides her amazing accolades, Christina’s favorite thing about her job is the willingness of the greater team to lend a hand. With a company network as wide as this one, there’s always someone to help; she’s grateful for the fact that nobody at AOA works on an island, and help is always a phone call away.
Awards, accolades, and all, Christina is proud to be an AOA team-mate and legacy construction professional. Her childhood concrete-curing competence are just the start of an illustrious career.
