As part of the AOA administrative team, Alison acts as general support in all things payroll and human resources. From leading new employee onboarding to assisting with benefit packages, Alison maintains the all-important structure of AOA’s behind-the-scenes business operations.

Alison graduated from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Immediately after graduation, she joined one of the Big Four Accounting firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers, as an Audit Associate. From there on, Alison moved to the Cayman Islands to pursue a role in Human Resources & General Accounting for a restaurant group. Across this role, Alison ran payroll for three restaurants; she also completely redid the books from manual pen-and-paper books to Quickbooks, ran all financial reports, and handled event planning for restaurant special events.

These days, Alison’s duties include issuing and distributing paychecks, managing direct deposits, benefits withholding, payroll deductions, garnishments and levies, flexible spending accounts, and more. She works alongside the accounting team to provide comprehensive financial services for AOA team members, and occasionally weighs in on project finances when needed.

Alison is a fast learner with a positive attitude. At AOA, she’s constantly expanding her skills to better serve the greater team. She’s an organized number cruncher with a people-first attitude, making her an incredible addition to the accounting team.
