Engineering, constructing, managing, and coordinating are just a few of the functions and faculties Alex Padron handles at AOA. With over 10 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry to his name, Alex is a driving force in contractor accountability, successful punch-out procedures, and all-around amazing AOA ability.
Alongside the rest of the team, Alex provides contract administration support, streamlines contract flow and approval processes, and manages inventory lists. Amidst the exciting projects that Alex gets to work on every day, one of his favorites is the NBA Experience in Disney Springs, where he facilitated punch-lists and managed construction during project development.
Working amidst the NBA Experience designers is definitely an experience for the ages, too. Watching creative initiatives turn into real-world experiences is absolutely unforgettable, especially on a project as unique as the NBA Experience. Interactive stations where guests can shoot hoops with the best of them, compare their height to the sky-high stances of celebrity players, and insert themselves among the gleaming polished courts and cheering crowds – what could be better than an immersive experience with all those bells and whistles attached?
Additionally, Alex is proud to say that he owns his own business renting construction equipment in Venezuela, which he operated and managed successfully for 8 years. During this time, Alex gained experience in construction and computer programming; he used these skills to develop company software, and has even lent some of his software-developing skills to AOA’s projects. He’s glad that he’s had the opportunity to use his personal business development skills on AOA’s work. With such a supportive team leading the theme park lines, one of Alex’s highlights of his day-to-day is getting to achieve fantastic initiatives both internally and externally.
