Qiddiya Wahat

AOA was responsible for the conceptual planning and previsualization of a future rest area leading to the development of Qiddiya - a bold, new Capital of Entertainment, Sports and the Arts in Saudi Arabia. Complete with restaurants, retail, food truck area, kids playground, and water features all under a green grass canopy, this conceptual development truly transforms the bareen dessert into an Oasis (the meaning of Wahat).

Based on the background story AOA created featuring a caravan of camels bringing seven gifts to an Oasis, the giant, low-poly, metal camels will be the leading figures directing drivers to Qiddiya from Riyadh. The camels will stand 30 ft tall in the flat landscape.
