Baha Mar - Bond Nightclub

Baha Mar’s resort features a glamorous,725-guest-capacity night club designed by Kravitz Design. This high-end nightclub and flexible event space boasts a state-of-the-art sound system, digital LED ceiling and walls, and DJ booth. AOA took Lenny Kravitz’s conceptual design and progressed it through schematic design, detailed design, and construction documentation. AOA’s role as Project Manager and Technical Director aided in the completion of all media, sound, lighting, and effects within the club. Sound attenuation was the biggest challenge since the club was located on the ground floor underneath 18 stories. The team overcame this with the implementation of building ‘a box within a box’ design and construction method. In addition, AOA oversaw the General Contractor and construction management as well as provided successful completion and turnover.
